MK Land Holdings Bhd through its subsidiary company, Taman Teladan Sdn Bhd (ZTSB), will be building another 800 units of various types of residential properties worth RM80mil under the second phase of the Taman Klebang Putra development project in Ipoh next year.

General manager 1 Mustara Kamal Hawari said in the first six months of the year, a total of 400 houses would be built while the remaining will be built before the year ended.

A total of 1,048 units under the project had already been launched and were currently close to completion, he told reporters during a briefing on the development of Taman Klebang Putra in Ipoh yesterday.

“Based on the fast-paced development and its implementation, this project is expected to be completed eight months earlier than originally schedule,” he said.

Taman Klebang Putra will have a total of 2,600 residential properties and 300 commercial properties. It was launched last December, with full completion expected in 2007 with a total development value of RM287mil. – Bernama
