TOKYO (AP) - Tokyo stocks closed sharply lower on Monday as investors sold export-oriented issues in response to the U.S. dollar's recent declines.
The greenback traded just above its four-and-half-year lows against the yen, following a sell-off Friday in New York on concerns over the swollen U.S. trade deficit.
