MANILA, Philippines (AP) - Philippine shares closed sharply higher Tuesday on a technical recovery after suffering losses in seven straight sessions, traders said.
The benchmark 30-company Philippine Stock Exchange Index ended at 1,787.89, up 45.08 points, or 2.6 percent.
