REDtone gets NSP licence

REDTONE International Bhd has been awarded a network service provider (NSP) licence by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

REDtone said in a statement the licence would present it with new opportunities to continue strengthening its business performance.

“As an NSP, REDtone can now offer a broader range of services similar to those provided by a full-fledged telco, except that it will not build physical infrastructure,” group managing director Wei Chuan Beng said.

He said as an NSP, REDtone would have better profit margin and a bigger capacity to generate more business. – Bernama
