JOHNSON Controls (M) Sdn Bhd has been appointed by Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Bhd to manage the facilities for the 30-storey Menara Weld.

Great Eastern, which assumed management of Menara Weld in June, outsourced the facility management of the 14-year old landmark in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur to Johnson Controls, which is one of the biggest facility solutions services provider globally.

Johnson Controls said in a statement the facility management of Menara Weld would cover three main areas of mechanical and electrical support services, custodial services, and administration and management services.

Its managing director Francis Liew said the appointment marked Johnson Controls' presence in the Golden Triangle to stamp its mark of excellence in managing, maintaining and conserving prime properties. – Bernama
