Raffles Medical buys Penang’s Island Hospital for RM110mil


RAFFLES Medical Group Ltd, Singapore's second largest publicly traded healthcare company, has agreed to buy Island Hospital Sdn Bhd, a 240-bed private hospital in Penang, for RM110mil. 

The acquisition, which will be financed through internally generated cash and borrowings, allows Raffles Medical to further broaden its geographical presence.
