HONG KONG: Film producer and distributor Golden Harvest Entertainment (Holdings) Ltd and two other companies plan to acquire a cinema network in Taiwan for US$38mil.
Golden Harvest, which operates cinemas here, in mainland China, Malaysia and Singapore, said in a statement that it would pay US$15.2mil for a 40% stake in Warner Village Taiwan, which operates 83 screens in Taiwan.
