SMART card pre-paid meters carrying homegrown brand Metronix designed by Malaysian Intelligence Meters Sdn Bhd (MIM) have found their ways to overseas markets.
The system, called Stabil (Sistem Tanpa Bil or Paperless Payment System), is now being implemented in countries such as Iran, Thailand and Bangladesh, where the various electricity supply bodies enjoy a cost-effective means of supplying electricity while at the same time cutting costs.
