CA sets up knowledge centre in Singapore

COMPUTER Associates International Inc (CA) is investing US$100,000 to set up a knowledge centre in Singapore to promote the awareness of data availability technologies and best practices for information technology (IT) storage professionals in the South Asia region.  

CA country manager (Singapore) Philip Chua said the CA-DSI DataAvailability Knowledge Centre (DAKC), formed in collaboration with and hosted by non-profit outfit Data Storage Institute (DSI), was the first one-stop centre in South-East Asia to promote knowledge in data availability best practices. The centre will also provide training and related solutions demonstration.
