THE trading week just ended was a bad one for Asian stock markets as concerns over high oil prices and China's economic growth prospects continued to mount.
Sliding markets in the United States, caused in part by worries about the surge in crude oil prices and its effect on future US economic growth, also contributed to the bearish sentiment on Asian bourses.
