MANILA, Philippines (AP) - Philippine shares finished higher Thursday, boosted by blue-chip mall operator SM Prime's payment of a cash dividend, traders said.
After briefly pushing past its 1,800-point psychological resistance, the benchmark 30-company Philippine Stock Exchange Index closed the session at 1,797.30, up 6.57 points, or 0.4 percent.
