SINGAPORE: Ranhill Bhd will decide whether to invest in a US$1bil Indian power project after it finalises due diligence this month, a source close to the plan said yesterday.
If a deal is reached, Ranhill would invest US$192mil as 30% of the project would be funded by equity and 70% by debts from Indian banks, said the source, who asked not to be identified.
