PATANI Jaya Sdn Bhd’s Bandar Laguna Merbok project in Sungai Petani has received the highly coveted Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers (FIABCI) award.

Executive director Ricque Liew said Bandar Laguna Merbok was the first project in the northern region to win the prestigious award.

Liew said as the winner of FIABCI property award of distinction, Bandar Laguna Merbok would represent Malaysia in the relevant category at the FIABCI International Prix d’Excellence in Paris.

“This is an annual competition of the world’s best projects and the awards will be presented at the FIABCI World Congress,” he said.

The 493-acre Bandar Laguna Merbok boasts a clubhouse purpose-built to meet the residents' health, social and recreational needs.

Facing a man-made lake, the clubhouse has facilities that include swimming and wading pools, a gymnasium, tennis courts, sauna and a restaurant.

The project also enjoys around-the-clock security and regular maintenance.
