Record high oil prices, which shot past US$50 a barrel yesterday on continued supply disruption worries, have raised some fresh concerns over Malaysia's economic growth and corporate earnings.
Given that we are a net oil exporter, higher oil prices would have both a positive and negative impact on the economy,'' MIDF Bhd senior economist Azrul Azwar Ahmad Tajudin said.
