PANASONIC Malaysia Sdn Bhd expects sales for the current year ending March 31, 2005, to exceed RM1bil, compared with RM970mil in 2004, said managing director Jiro Tomotani.
He was confident the new Viera series of Plasma and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) television sets launched yesterday would help it meet the figures.
