CPO to see more sideways trading


BURSA Malaysia Derivatives crude palm oil futures prices started the week lower in line with the weaker Chicago Board of Trade soyoil prices and then congested for the rest of the sessions before finishing the week in the negative column. 

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board August data that indicated an increased of 3.82% in the August crude palm oil output to 1,318,659 tonnes and a drop of 2.72% in the end-August palm oil stocks to 1,256,518 tonnes had limited impact on trading. Exports for August registered a jump of 9.38% to 1,224,249 tonnes.
