CANADIAN small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are keen on having business partners in Muslim countries, particularly Malaysia, Malaysia-Canada Business Council (MCBC) president, Roger F. Poulin said.
With the Canadian government right now, there are about 10,000 to 12,000 registered SMEs, which are export-ready in Canada in various sectors, including the oil and gas, agriculture, information technology (IT), manufacturing, food and beverage, and halal food, he said, adding that export-ready meant that they were in the position to export products or services.
