ALEXANDRIA (Virginia): - US Airways Group Inc sought bankruptcy on Sunday for the second time in two years, squeezed by low-cost rivals, soaring fuel prices and a failure to win new labour concessions.
Expectations are slim the airline can borrow money or find new equity partners, but some industry and corporate restructuring experts gave US Airways a fighting chance of cutting costs to restore its health.
