Strategy to build on three core areas


AHMAD Pardas Senin, who keeps a low profile, has a high profile task. No novice to the United Engineers (M) Bhd (UEM) group, he returns after a 1½-year stint at Silterra Malaysia with much vigour and enthusiasm to take the bull by its horns. In a two-hour interview with StarBiz assistant news editor B.K. SIDHU, he spoke on his strategy to build on three core areas – optimise existing assets, nurture UEM employees to be more pro-active, and deliver shareholder value – while exploiting new opportunities to ensure profitability, sustainability.
