PLAYERS in the agriculture sector are anticipating good incentives in Budget 2005 such as less tax, better links between productivity and wages, and strong emphasis on the training of agricultural workers to take the industry to greater heights.
They also believe those involved in food processing and agriculture-based businesses would be among the major beneficiaries in line with the government's aspiration to turn agriculture into a strong engine of growth for the economy and make the country self-reliant in food production by 2010.
