COCHIN: India's southern Kerala state has reached a deal with a Malaysian company to build a world-class marina as part of the state's drive to be known as the Florida of the East,'' an official said yesterday.
The marina is to be built near here, the commercial hub of Kerala, and will require an initial investment of 500 million rupees (US$10.8mil).
