For Donald Augustus Surin and his wife Ooi Len Ee, happiness must have been raising a family in a home built by the Island & Peninsular (I & P) group.
The couple, which have three sons and four grandchildren, have been staying in their single-storey terrace house in I & P's first project in Taman Bunga Raya, Sungai Petani, since 1973. This project was launched in 1964 and had 400 houses then.
