Petronas Gas signs deal to supply liquid argon to Maser

Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB), a listed subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd, has signed a long term sale and purchase agreement with Maser (M) Sdn Bhd on Monday for the supply of liquid argon from PGB’s centralised utilities facility in Kertih, Terengganu. 

In a statement yesterday, PGB said that it would supply liquid argon with 99.999% purity at an annual contract quantity of 3.8 million Newton metres (Nm3) amounting to a total volume of 19.2 million Nm3 over the five-year period to Maser, a company involved in trading and distribution of engineering products in the oil and gas, petrochemical and other related industries.
