Khind buying 40% stake in Indon Mistral distributor

Khind Holdings Bhd, a distributor of home electrical appliances, is to acquire a 40% stake in PT Mistral Indonesia for RM337,780. PT Mistral distributes the Mistral brand of electrical appliances in Indonesia. 

“Khind has been exporting Mistral products to Indonesia since last year through an appointed agent. Due to steady sales that we have been achieving, we feel it is timely to have a more significant presence in that country,” Khind chief executive P.K. Cheng said in a statement yesterday.
