Modern facilities help Tianshi meet growing global demand

GEOGRAPHICALLY-DIVERSIFIED Tianshi Group Co Ltd - one of China's fastest growing companies - is positioning Malaysia as the hub for its halal health, biotech and cosmetic products. StarBiz chief reporter Hanim Adnan interviewed Tianshi's founder and chairman Li Jin Yuan on his plans and strategies in Malaysia and globally.

TIANSHI Group recently unveiled its latest RMB 500mil Tianshi Yihai Co Ltd project located at the Tianshi Shanghai Health Industrial Zone in Shanghai, China.

Slated for completion in several phases beginning late next year, this 200-acre mixed property development will house the latest state-of-the-art facilities.

Under phase one, the planned construction area would initially comprise a comprehensive international base, an integrated research and development centre, mid-testing, scale manufacturing and production, international logistics, marketing and education centre.

Tianshi Group president and chairman Li Jin Yuan said during the foundation-laying ceremony in Shanghai recently that the new facility aimed to cater for the growing demand for Tiens products in China and globally.

He said this would help to better position Tianshi as a global group amid the stiff challenges ahead.

The ceremony was attended by 1,000 Tiens international distributors invited by Tianshi to celebrate the group's ninth year anniversary celebrations.

Currently, Tianshi Group's existing manufacturing plants in China are located at Tianjin New Technological Industry Complex in Wuqing Development Zone near Beijing covering a total area of 260,000 sq m. Its capital assets run up to RMB2.1bil.

“These plants integrate the essence of Chinese preservation culture of 5,000 years while utilising the most advanced manufacturing equipment and processes,” Li said.

Tianshi Group has manufactured products with guaranteed quality, some of which have received US Food and Drug Administration certification.

“Our stringent product quality management system has enabled Tianshi to pass the ISO-9002 quality system certification,” he added.

To date, Tianshi Group has developed over 100 products in five series of health foods and also launched over 20 kinds of chemical products for daily consumption.

Over the past nine years, advanced manufacturing equipment and technology have been introduced from the US, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, Denmark and Taiwan to boost the production and quality of the group's health-based products.

Tianshi produces cleansing products like chitosan and beauty capsules; high calcium drink, vitality softgel capsules, vigor-rousing capsules, weight loss tea, spirulina and double-cellulose tablets.

Li said “the secret of Chinese health preservation'' is in the cleansing, replenishing, strengthening and balancing to achieve improvement of physique and longevity.
