IOI Corp said yesterday it would raise yearly palm oil output by more than 12% to meet strong demand from China and India, thereby boosting profits.
Higher Malaysian crude palm oil (CPO) prices of RM1,500-RM1,600 a tonne were expected for the rest of the year and early 2005, added IOI group executive director Lee Yeow Chor.
