RANHILL Bhd is looking at acquiring Khazanah Nasional's 51.7% stake in UEM Builders Bhd at a price tag of RM1bil. If it materialises, the move would create the largest engineering and construction house in the country.
A source told StarBiz that Ranhill would use UEM Builders to house all its overseas projects – mostly oil & gas, highway construction and IPP (independent power producer)-related works.
