MiTV to lease 20 more tower facilities from Celcom

MiTV Corp Sdn Bhd, the operator of the country's second pay television, plans to lease 20 more telecommunications tower facilities from Celcom (M) Bhd to broadcast its programmes under the second phase of its expansion drive.

MiTV chief executive officer and deputy chairman Datuk Rosman Ridzwan said the leasing of telecommunications facilities would enable the company to reduce its infrastructure development costs and bring its services to the market at a faster rate.
