IMPSA to set up RM60m plant

IMPSA Malaysia Sdn Bhd will invest about RM60mil to establish a world-class crane fabrication facility that is also capable of manufacturing equipment for the hydropower sector. 

IMPSA Port Systems Sdn Bhd president Juan Carlos Fernandez said the new plant, the first of its kind outside China, would have the capacity to produce 16 STS (ship-to-shore) container cranes and 30 rubber-tyre gantries per year.
