BANKING group Affin Holdings Bhd has long been seen as the least attractive stock in the financial services sector. Its share price valuation of 0.8 times its book value – the lowest in the industry – reflects this view.
The worst, however, is believed to be behind the group. “All the large, bad loans have been recovered or provided for,” said a fund manager.
