SP Setia unit to work with Aussie pre-fab firms

Setia Precast Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the housing developer SP Setia Bhd, will collaborate with Australian private companies to further develop the prefabricated building technology into a modularised component-based construction technique. 

General manager Othman Jaki said the system called the industrialised building system (IBs) would involve the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the production of components to generate a deeper and wider impact on the economy.
