Consumer spending at a high


The three-times-a-year nationwide Mega Sales Carnival is always anticipated eagerly by retailers. For the second carnival this year, from July 24 to Sept 5, expectations are high among retailers as many factors point to better retail sales in 2004. Economists could not agree more as the economy shows signs of strengthening, which has led to better consumer sentiment.
