HEWLETT-PACKARD Sales (M) Sdn Bhd (HP) is confident of its prospects in the local handheld devices market via the extension of its iPAQ handheld devices range with better converged data and voice mobile applications.
Country general manager (personal systems group) Wong Chun Fong said no other mobile phone manufacturers were currently able to produce a handheld computer that worked as a cellphone and capable of logging onto the Internet at high-speed wireless hotspots.
