HEAVY buying of blue chip stocks, especially banking counters, by institutional investors sent the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) to its highest level in two months yesterday.
The KLCI ended up nearly 13 points or 1.5% at 843 following the buying spree in the afternoon session.
