MALAYSIA'S exports rose at a slower-than-expected pace in May as lower palm oil prices cut earnings from overseas shipments at producers such as IOI Corp and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.
Exports rose 20.5% from a year earlier, to RM38.5bil, after expanding 23.2% in April, the International Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement yesterday.
