BEIJING: A rebound in China's steel prices in June is expected to continue in the second half this year as demand for steel products such as cold-rolled plates outstrips supply owing to surging economic growth, analysts said.
The price of reinforced steel bars, which are used in construction, reached an average 3,335 yuan a tonne between June 21 and 25, up 12.29% from 2,970 yuan at the end of May. – AFX-Asia
