It's business as usual at Negara despite parent's merger

DESPITE the ongoing merger exercise at Golden Hope Plantations Bhd (GHope) and Island & Peninsular Bhd (I&P), which may affect the future existence and direction of GHope's property unit Negara Properties Bhd, it is business as usual for the Negara Properties team.

The merger exercise involving the two Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) companies to create one of the largest plantation and property groups in the country is expected to complete by October or November.
