KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Malay Traders and Entrepreneurs Association (Perdasama) is proposing that wholesale markets come under the supervision of the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry to ensure that farmers and fishermen reap the profits from the sale of their products.
Association president Datuk Moehamad Izat Emir said in a statement today that the move would help improve the members' standard of living and promote economic growth.
