HONG Leong Bank has yesterday launched its mobile phone banking service for customers of the Hotlink Maxis prepaid service, which will enable them to check their account or credit card balance without having to call the bank.

Recalling that the bank's first mobile phone banking service was launched two years ago for Maxis post-paid customers, group managing director Yvonne Chia said the extension of the service to Hotlink prepaid customers would enable the bank to serve a larger customer base.
