Malayan Flour Mills Bhd (MFM), which started commercial operations in 1965, has diversified its business from flour milling to include the manufacture of animal feedand integrated poultry business. 

Despite dwindling profits due to higher costs of raw materials such as wheat and animal feed ingredients, thegroup remains confident of its resilience and ability to face the challenges. 

Managing director Teh Wee Chye talks to ELAINE ANG about MFM's initiatives to grow the business and improve the group's performance.
