AMSTERDAM: France Telecom-owned mobile operator Orange has launched a new smartphone that is one-third smaller than its predecessor and said the handset is the worlds smallest that can handle computer applications.
The company also said that by the second half of 2004, it would have specially designed Orange-signature phones from all six major vendors, adding models from South Koreas Samsung Electronics and Germanys Siemens.
