TOKYO: The decline in bank lending slowed and money supply expanded at a faster rate in May, data released yesterday showed, providing further evidence of economic recovery.
Economists said the latest indicators meant the Bank of Japan (BoJ) was even less likely to take steps to further ease credit, as the economy was experiencing its strongest growth in more than seven years.
