DONGHEEAUTO Co Ltd, set up to assemble Kia Motors Corp's (KMC) Picanto cars, aims to double its annual production capacity to 300,000 units in 2006 from 150,000 units currently.
Operating at 85% of total capacity now, it targets raising output to 95% of capacity from August and achieving optimum capacity by the year-end, said senior vice-president Jin Dong Wee.
