MASTERCARD International recorded RM3.96bil in gross dollar volume (GDV) in Malaysia for the first quarter this year, signifying a 18.3% year-on-year growth.
Vice-president and senior country manager for Malaysia and Brunei, Jim Cheah, said in a statement that Malaysia was one of the leading markets for MasterCard in South-East Asia in terms of GDV and purchase transactions.
