TAIPEI: Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd said it is ready to ask South Korea-based LG Philips LCD Co Ltd for an estimated sum of more than US$1bil in compensation for infringement of its intellectual property and violation of US anti-trust law.
The company was ready to file anti-trust lawsuits against LG Philips LCD shortly at a California district court in the United States, it said in a statement.
