TOKYO: Japan's industrial output rose in April, data showed yesterday, the latest in a series of figures suggesting an export-led recovery is going strong.
Although separate data showed deflation remained a problem and the jobless rate was unchanged, the production figures highlighted the strength of exports and demand for digital electronic appliances that have underpinned the recovery. – Reuters
