Ranhill Utilities to spend RM670mil on water plants and new pipes


Ranhill Utilities Bhd is spending RM670mil between 2003 and 2005 mainly on water treatment plants and the replacement of some 500km of old water distribution pipes in Johor. 

President Tan Sri Hamdan Mohamad said the capital expenditure, which was allocated under the concession’s Second Operating Period which started in January last year, was aimed at reducing the company’s non-revenue water and increase production efficiency.
