·BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BHD has issued a consultation paper to Mesdaq market listed companies and other relevant industry participants to seek their feedback on the revamp of the listing requirements for the Mesdaq market (MMLR). 

Bursa Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer Yusli Mohamed Yusoff said in a statement the objectives of the revamp were to enhance the attractiveness of Mesdaq to potential issuers, to benchmark Mesdaq against other similar markets and to further promote the integrity and credibility of the market. – Bernama 

·George Kent (M) Bhd said it has secured a RM17.8mil subcontract from Peremba Construction Sdn Bhd to undertake the mechanical and electrical works for the 100 mld (million litres per day) raw water intake and pumping station at Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan.  

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract was due for completion before Nov 30 this year. 

The project owner is the Negri Sembilan water works department and the main contractor is the NSWK-Zecon joint venture. – AFX-Asia
