STOCK markets across Asia ended a generally bad week on a better note yesterday with investors hopeful that members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) meeting in Amsterdam this weekend would agree to increase output, leading to lower oil prices.
All the bourses in the region closed higher, led by those in Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
