Malaysia among top Asia markets for BMW

THE BMW group is on target to achieve 60% higher sales to 150,000 units of its cars in Asia by 2008 from 93,000 last year, with the Malaysian market among the fastest growing in the region.

BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Wolfgang Schlimme said this would be achieved through “a continuing model offensive” for the carmaker that had been introducing new models into the local market almost on a monthly basis over the past year.
